Weather Changes

We are still analyzing having a physical Visa/MC Terminal here at Country Charm Chapel. My finance manager is evaluating if it is worth the cost. Who knew they were so expensive! Thank goodness PayPal is all about taking Credit Cards. We may just be staying with that for a while.

This is only our 7th summer here in Virginia, but I think it has been the HOTTEST! YIKES!!! The first year we moved here from Seattle, we thought, "Hey, this is the same weather as home!" ...Because that year it rained a lot! And it seemed we had thunder and lightning after two days of heat – as if the skies couldn't handle it anymore than we could! But these last three years, it has been getting hotter and hotter and less rain. :-(

Country Charm Chapel is Growing!

As the wedding chapel grows, so do new obstacles. That is just a sign that I need to take the business to the next level.

This year, I have had an unusual amount of no-shows. It isn’t about me or the money, but about the people I have in the “wings” of the business that make a no-show so upsetting. For at least one hour, my family and their animals, when home, are hidden away and quiet as a mouse so you can have the best experience possible. My photographer comes from Culpeper. That’s time and gas without compensation. I have an intern for the summer who gets all dressed to learn the very basics of a Wedding Planner, and no compensation. PLEASE call or email if you decide to cancel.

Starting next month, August 2010, I will require a Non-Refundable Deposit for all packages to get scheduled on my calendar, which will go towards your wedding package price.

The GOOD NEWS is that I will now be able to take Visa/MC and Paypal payments!

Fresh Start!

I DID IT! (well, I did have a lot of help) Every room has been cleared out of unwanted, never used objects. Last week was the last room — my office. Tascha, my bunny, and I have a new arrangement. She has her own play area and I don’t have to step on her toys anymore!  :-)

Yes, I do travel. I will put up my prices on the website soon since I am getting a lot of calls for traveling lately.

I am now being recognized in the Stafford County as a business, so we are having to deal with some legal paperwork. I hope it all works out. I put my business partner on it!  :-)

Spring Flowers!

Don’t you love watching the order of Spring flowers emerging? I do. In our yard, the Weeping Pussywillow is the first to bloom, then the Sweetgum, the Cherry, the Dogwood and then the Redbud.

If you are allergic to bees, this is a precautionary note! There are TONS of bees buzzing about these trees. I haven’t had anyone stung yet, so I’m hoping the bees are way too busy in the flowers!

Is it time for Spring cleaning? I am going through my stuff, room by room and getting rid of things – those “treasures” that are never used. Feels good! It’s amazing what you can live without!  :-)

Another note, I am now officially authorized to marry in the District of Columbia! I am very honored to be able to support same-sex marriages. My next goal is to find a gay-friendly vendor in DC to partner with me and make more dreams happen!

~Busy, Busy, Busy~

♥ Love is in the Air ♥
(a song by Milk & Sugar featuring John Paul Young)

February was a really busy month!

I am very happy you like the Timeless Moments package that provides a photographer and the CD of Digital Photos. My photographer loves being able to have the opportunity to photograph! Keeping the prices real and reasonable for you is what we try to maintain.

Some wedding couples choose to not have ANY pictures taken at all – not even one from my Kodak Share! I always feel bad about that. Even IF it is a secret wedding, why wouldn’t you want to have that memory later for yourselves or for your children? My mom and dad got married in a courthouse (1964 - years ago) and had ONE picture taken of that moment. With both my parents deceased, I love seeing their happy faces. If tomorrow I moved to Paradise, did I leave my family with enough memorable moments?

~Memories in a Box~

A Simpler 2010

Country Charm Chapel has been in business for over four years now. I will be starting my second Wedding Journal, a legal requirement, at ceremony #548. I have had the opportunity to apply many of my inspirations to you over these last four years and it has been fun! But you, the customer, have shown me what you want and what is important and appreciated. So this year we are keeping it simply charming and memorable.

Although I am honored to officiate your love commitments, please remember it is not yet legal here in the state of Virginia. Hopefully soon, but for now, DC is the place!!! <3

~Love out of the Box~

The Holiday Spirit

It is a beautiful time of the year. With that bit of snow that fell recently, it just put the “sparkle” into the season a little more! Our family is changing some old long-time traditions this year with a simpler focus. But the one thing that remains is the little Angel we bought for the top of the tree over 20 years ago. She is a little yellowed, not nearly as elegant as the ones I see in the stores now, but VERY much ours.

~Hope, Love, Happiness~

The Disclaimers

I recently had a wedding where the bride failed to read the DVD disclaimer which said, “...Disclaimer: The DVDs are recorded to the best of our ability, but there have been a small percentage that do not play successfully in all DVD players. We do not have the resources to modify or correct them once recorded, so if you have any trouble we apologize and will refund you for the DVD.”

This ALONE should have let her know that she may NOT GET a DVD out of the package! But she DID get a DVD that preserved the words and the memory of her wedding. Her concern now was the COLORS in the DVD.

So please note that our video camera is not professional-grade, so the quality won't be perfect—the DVD is simply meant to preserve your memories!!! We have the DVD set to Night Mode due to lighting issues in that room. Your REDS will NOT look red! This is about MEMORIES. I can’t keep prices low if I am going to have $5000.00 pieces of equipment. If you want perfection, please hire a videographer.

What is sad, is that she failed to see what a treasure it is to have that memory at all. I married a couple this summer who HIRED a professional videographer and he didn’t even show!!! Now THAT is sad and disappointing.

~APPRECIATION~

The Vacation

My husband had time off that he HAD to take or loose. So off we went on his dream vacation - a 3000 mile roundtrip drive which included an Arkansas Diamond Field and then to Gem Mountain in North Carolina before coming home. No diamonds were found, but at Gem Mountain we did pick up some nice gem stones. We are each having a garnet made into a piece of jewelry as a memory keepsake. Needless to say, we both decided we are done with DRIVING vacations from now on. It will be all about getting to ONE place and making the most of it there! LOL

Check out the new packages, new vendors, and my new associations with Country Charm Chapel! This is going to make an awesome wedding venue for you!!!

~FINDING the Diamond in the Rough!~

Crisp Air!

Today, I dug out my sweater and turned on the heater! I’m sure we will be flipping the heater and air conditioner back and forth for a month now. I am allergic to this heavy humidity here, so we tend to keep the air conditioner on, but keep moving it to the warmer temperatures! Just turn it off and watch my face and neck turn a bright RED!

Life in your 50s is so exciting! It’s amazing! I know someday I will reach the top of the mountain and be ready for my rocking chair and pinochle group, but what a great age to be right now!

This month I have so many new ventures going on!

  1. First off, look for the Wingate at Stafford icon! They are providing my wedding couples and guests with discounted rooms and shuttles to and from Country Charm Chapel on their wedding day!
  2. Second, I have hired a wonderful photographer who will make your memories beautiful and affordable!
  3. And third, I am working in Association with a Cake Decorator, who has designed Country Charm Chapel’s Signature Wedding Cake. This allows us to keep the costs affordable for you AND me!!!

Larry HAS to take vacation – Use it or Loose it!!! But he has so much time to take, we will be gone almost two weeks this latter part of October. We will be on a driving trip around the southeast looking and stopping at GEM mines!!! I will have my computer with me and the phone transferring to my cell so I can be available for your questions!

~Looking for the Diamond in the Rough!~

I Love Autumn!

In August, our Cherry Tree began loosing its leaves. We’ve lived in Virginia for six years and this hasn’t happened this early before! Here it is just 10 days into September and all the leaves are gone! Wow! I think we may have an early winter! Early seems relative... When I was a child living in the Northwest, September was always FALL. But we have been amazed here in Virginia how HOT it is way up into November sometimes! For me, this is the way it should be and I’m REALLY looking forward to a LOT of cool weather finally.  :-)

The trip to PARIS from my daughter, Misty, was wonderful!!! A real dream come true for me. She wasn’t as in love with Paris and my romantic ideas of it as I was, but she enjoyed the architecture!  :-)  Maybe what made it so great was just the absence of any responsibility. But I think it was both. LOL We both miss the food though! We can’t seem to re-create it here.

I am back in gear now and will actually have a new package up soon! Stafford Wingate has “partnered” with me for a Wedding Night Room and complimentary shuttle to and from Country Charm Chapel! I think this is going to be really nice for you!!!

~Looking for the Romantics!~

Moments in Time...

There is always that one space of time in our lives that we think was the happiest. Although at times we would love to “go back,” it can never be recreated. It is a nice place to visit from time to time, but if we LIVE there, we don’t recognize the happiness that is right in front of us.
— anonymous

I have always tried to exude a positive attitude toward the future for my family as well as for myself. I must admit though, there have been times when it has been really hard. As my children became adults, they became my two best friends. Although it has been a role they probably didn’t want to always be in, I am honored that they have stood by my side when I couldn’t keep up the happy façade. [Thank you Andy and Misty!]

TODAY, August 10th, 2009, was one of those happy Moments in Time! TODAY was the 500th ceremony given through Country Charm Chapel. It was a big milestone for me and I hope those I shared it with had an extra special day as well. <3

~Look for that Moment of Happiness in Every Day!~

Time Flies!!!

I can’t believe it has been one year since my daughter moved from Seattle to Virginia! I love having my children close by even though they may not be as thrilled of that as I am!

June was a very busy month. I started clearing out my den and rearranging it, which took much more time than I had anticipated! All those old “going to do someday” projects went in the trash or to my kids if they wanted them. I had to make sure my bunny, Tascha, was happy as well! She is my den bunny buddy! The kids say I give her more attention than I do to them! LOL Do I???? LOL But the den is finally done and feels really great.

The fun news is that my daughter is taking me to Paris, France the end of August for an early birthday present - I am soooo excited!!! Paris is my dream. AND, I finally will get a stamp in my passport! <3

Keep an eye out for new packages and changes, which are coming soon to Country Charm Chapel. They are going to be wonderful.

~Happiness!~

Not As Busy A Month As It Looks!

My Calendar looks all booked up, but it really isn’t. A lot of my family’s doctor appointments are being scheduled this month due to it usually being a slow month with the BIG weddings happening all over the world! I have lots of time to do more than one wedding a day. So, if you see a date that you want and it looks full, please just call or email me. If you are flexible on the TIME, then I can most likely accommodate a wedding for you that day.

We Harrison’s are LOVING the rain and thunderstorms. It rains in Seattle where “home” is, but the thunderstorms are very rare. I think we’ve gotten more rain here this year than any year in Seattle!!!!! For some reason the thunder and lightening has started making my chocolate lab, Cally, nervous. I guess being almost 13 years old she is allowed. <3

Look For The Beauty In The Rain!!!

Germs!

What are we doing here at Country Charm Chapel to help keep away the germs and make you feel better about coming?

First, I can tell you we have some pretty strict FAMILY rules for germs ourselves! We ALWAYS wash our hands after going to the bathroom and before we eat. We have antibacterial wipes all over the house, and we change the heating/AC filters once a month. I have a cleaning lady who comes twice a month for the downstairs where the chapel and guests are – once a month upstairs.

I ALWAYS wipe down the “guest” bathroom (and door-knobs) before you come and after you leave. That is standard for me. Do you know how many people do NOT wash their hands after going to the bathroom? Even girls!!! That always surprises me. What I have now ADDED in the bathroom for extra precaution against this Swine Flu Epidemic is “No Water” Sanitizer (Purell). I even love that better and will keep that on-hand from now on!

I usually use a nice “Fresh Cut Roses” smell for the chapel, but for awhile, I will be spraying with the best flowery smelling Lysol I can find before and after you come here.

Let’s Fight the Germs Together!!!

April Already?!

You know what’s funny? I could re-write last year’s April Blog and it would fit perfectly with my thoughts again today! LOL But I won’t. I need to be a little original!

Some of you might not know that we rent this home. We thought we’d be reassigned somewhere else within two years. As you can see, we are still here in Virginia. Once we settled into this home, we just loved it, and are very happy to be here. When the housing market went sky high, we were fortunate to have a wonderful homeowner who didn’t try to sell it during that time! We have made some improvements over time as if it were our own, but recently the owner landscaped the back hillside behind our home and it looks so beautiful! A new cherry and a dogwood tree have been added, so next year will really be gorgeous!

Happy Spring!!!

You asked for it!

As you might know, last month I created a new package for you which I love. Recently, I have gotten several requests from you asking to have a small cake-cutting and toasting event after your ceremony here. It makes sense. However, I have had several concerns. I am a neat freak. With that in mind, YES, I will have a cake-cutting package up soon, but it will come with some house rules. The package includes an in-house wedding cake by MISTICakes and Sparkling Cider for toasting! All necessities will be provided, so you have nothing to think about!

Check back soon!

I’m out of my Cave!

You know how on TV you see writers locked up in their “writing place” to be left alone? And food and garbage is all over the place because they are on a roll??? Well, not the food and garbage part (I couldn’t stand that!), but I have been in my “writer’s place” for a couple months now trying to work out all the details of my new package for you:

A Crystal Bridal Shower

Andy and Misty are always my critiques, so their input has been invaluable! First it was making a comfortable, peaceful room fit for guests, food, games, and feeling pampered. THEN it was all about putting the details of a Bridal Shower together. After putting the whole thing in place, I feel even more sure it will be a wonderful gift to the person GIVING the Bridal Shower – AND a nice time for all of the guests and Bride-to-Be! I created this time to be a relaxing girls-time-out. A place away from the hectic life we live; where you feel pampered. A happy time when even your Great-Great-Grandmother can participate and enjoy a bit of fun. You are served on real glass plates. Crystal trays, bowls, and even a vase are used for the Bridal Shower. I’m excited about it – hope you like it. <3

Beauty is All Around Us – See it Sparkle!

Happy New Year 2009!!!

This year, Country Charm Chapel is proud to keep the prices low enough for wedding couples to STILL have a beautiful intimate wedding in this struggling economy.

I am also excited about putting together a new package – a Bridal Shower! Hopefully by the end of January I will have all the details worked out and up on the website. I may be wrong, which I’ll find out soon enough, but if I were going to give a shower, I think it would be great to just pay a fee, bring all my guests and let someone else “HOST” the Bridal Shower while I sit back and enjoy too!

A tidbit about me: I like to move furniture around – keep things new and fresh. My family is use to it! LOL When our Christmas Tree went to the dump and the decorations got put away, I started rearranging pieces of furniture in the house! FUN! (chapel always stays the same, no worries!) But now the “waiting room” is pretty empty and waiting on inspiration. I rearrange my bunny’s cage too and I wonder if she LIKES it or HATES it? At least she puts up with it! LOL

YOUR Happiness is MY Happiness!

SEASON’S GREETINGS!

This month brings a close to 2008 – didn’t that go by fast? Yes, it is true, the older I get the faster the time goes by! We had a nice big turkey for the four of us and a friend on Thanksgiving. In fact, we are still eating turkey leftovers! LOL Then on the 29th we headed to Snicker’s Gap to cut down our “perfect” Christmas Tree. This year it was Misty’s choice – no voting – just HER pick of the trees – first time EVER! She picked a beautiful one too! We asked Larry to do his traditional stringing of the lights on it and the end result was 1000 lights on a 7 foot tree! IT IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!

♥ May your Winter December be Merry and Bright ♥

November – and what PERFECT weather!!!

Did you get to vote? I was lucky and got to mail my ballet in early so I didn’t have to stand in the long lines! Wow!!!

November just started, but I know I’ll turn around and it is already Thanksgiving!!!! Misty LOVES Thanksgiving. When your kids get older and they talk about their favorite events, aren’t you surprised at what things or events stuck in their head and made an impression? I know I am. With all my family in the same house, (which I love) I am learning more and more about who they are now as adults. I am in awe of how much Misty has in common with her Dad. Those two are more alike than I ever thought! LOL Andy and I are on the opposite side and really click with our thoughts and ideals. Needless to say, when we play games, we pair Misty and her Dad together just to watch their connection and quick wit! Those two together are hilarious!

Enjoy Your Family and LAUGH!

We are in October already?!

I had a wonderful 50th birthday though! For me, fifty is a personal beginning.  :-)

Now that it is October, people are thinking about Halloween and Thanksgiving. I’m sorry, but except to take the family on a hay ride for a pumpkin, I always skip right over those holidays and start singing (out of key) Christmas tunes! This is the beginning of the Holiday Spirit when people actually start thinking of others – I love Christmas just for that. No matter what your thoughts or religion, the SPIRIT of LOVE is always wonderful.

Smile at someone today! ♥

YIPPEE – September!!!!

I love September – I don't know why. Maybe just the thought that the cooler weather is just around the corner!

I am excited to be sending my first set of referral checks out. This will happen the first of every month. Again, thank you for all your referrals! ♥

I am preparing to make the "winter" shift for the chapel. That means finding twinkly lighted trees by the front door, new ivy on the front bells, de-icer close by for those icy days, and a coat and umbrella rack up and ready! I wish I could keep the front lawn beautiful and green for you, but that just isn't going to happen with all the leaves falling around our home. Hopefully, if you chose a fall wedding, you love leaves!  :-)

We have a new member in our family, "Miss Tasche" (Tascha for short) – my bunny! I've always wanted one and just the right seller at the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair made contact with Larry and I as we were ooohing and aaahing at all those bunnies. My daughter was going to buy me one for my birthday (coming up), so I asked if I could have one early!  :-)  We are like new parents – not knowing all the tricks of the trade when it comes to bunnies! cats, dogs, rats, turtles, cows, ... yes, we have those down pat! LOL Larry and I are enjoying watching her personality grow! Have bunny stories? I'd love to hear them! I'm still learning!

As Promised – a Referral Program!

August 15th will be the beginning of my fourth year owning and operating Country Charm Chapel. I am honored by all the referrals you are sending me – thank you! It really tells me that I made your wedding day wonderful – and that makes me happy! To show my appreciation, I have created "Chime In", a referral program where I can give back! Please click on the link (chirping bird on Home page) and find out how you can get your "Chime In" rewards!

Misty started her new job this month. I think the most difficult part for her is EXCEPTING the amount of time it takes to get to and from work. It is "the way it is" here in the DC area. I always say, "Why get stressed about it. You might as well use that time to your advantage!" For me, I love to listen to my favorite music. I’ve never been able to have other "noise" going on while I am trying to work, so it is the only time I can really enjoy it. My husband always wanted to learn the Harmonica, so every now and then he listens to a tape on how to play and practices as he goes on down the road! CD books could be a great way to fill the time as well! ...just some ideas to take the traffic-jam-blues away!

~Be Happy!~

July

Would you believe we are going on our second half of the year? Wow! Reminds me even more to enjoy something of every day!

Our home is in a "moving" state, so a lot of boxes need to be emptied, need to be packed, and furniture to be placed. We will be working steadily at that to get us all feeling more centered and balanced here. For me, my home needs to have everything in its place before I can really feel grounded and happy. I hate disarray!

Have a fun July!

The journey may not bring happiness, but happiness is what you bring to the journey ♥

I am honored by the referrals you are all sending me – a HUGE compliment. Thank You!!! There are a few of you that have recommended Country Charm Chapel more than once – and you know who you are!  :-)  So I have decided to come up with a reward program. If you are getting married here – or have been married here - check the website for details on August 15, 2008. I think it will be a wonderful way to start my fourth year of Country Charm Chapel! ♥

Please let me apologize for not remembering your names or the actual details of your ceremony after you get married here. I tend to mix you up with each other. It isn't because you aren't beautiful and wonderful people, but I am looking at the INTERNAL YOU. More at what your feelings are, and what your needs may be at every moment. I am focused on making EVERY ceremony wonderful and special for each of you. No couple is better or worse than another. I may have more details with bigger packages, but that is the only difference. You are ALL important to me!!! ♥

As far as my own family life, I have a lot going on. I will be gone from June 16th through June 27th this month. If you've ever moved, remember all the little details it takes?! It has been a few years, but we are reminded of it all again! After struggling to survive on her own from a split relationship, our daughter is moving from Seattle to our home here in Virginia. I am personally very excited. I know from my own experience, though, that it isn't necessarily so "exciting" for a son or daughter to move back home to Mom and Dad. Besides that issue, moving from a home you love can be pretty traumatic. We here in the Harrison family are all doing our best to work the many details and to make Misty's transition as smooth as possible. I will be on the road with my daughter on her 26th birthday, so I plan to make every day of that "road trip" her birthday! Our son, Andy, will be 28 one week AFTER Misty's, so we will be celebrating that when we arrive!

Make all your journeys happy... ♥

May

May is my favorite month next to September! May is the month of my wedding anniversary to Larry! This May 28th will make it 21 years! It is amazing how fast the years go by. This month is also the beginning of many changes going on in our family and home. Andy is starting to organize for his move to San Francisco by going through his storage area - keep, toss, or sell! An overwhelming task unless you just focus on one box at a time! Misty, although in Seattle, is preparing for her move next month as well. Life is giving them both a new journey to expand their horizon!

With all this "moving" going on, I have also begun the process of redefining rooms. The chapel was first on the agenda and is now complete. Look for new pictures of the chapel by the end of this month! Other rooms may have an incomplete look if you come by and look around, but they too should be close to completion by June.

Changes and Beginnings – they can be scary, but they are always a step forward!

~Happiness!~

April showers bring May flowers...

...Isn't it so true. I love watching the trees burst out in bloom. The beautiful weather puts all kinds of landscaping ideas in my head - most of which won't happen, but it would be beautiful! I did make it out on our back deck to do a little "decorating." Now I need to place some potted plants here and there for the overall effect! I wish I could discover a secret to keeping the mosquitoes away though. They are so thick here in Virginia that our family can't even sit outside and enjoy the deck. I thought I might try turning on two facing fans to see if that keeps them blown out of the area. The back deck is a wonderful place. I throw bird seed out on the hillside behind the house as well, (actually all year long) which is so fun to see how many types of birds and critters come by for tasters. I haven't seen any deer stop by for over a year now though. Poor babies... My husband can BBQ the most delicious Salmon you've ever tasted! YUM! We try to get the Pacific Salmon most of the time. And since we are from Seattle, we prefer it to Atlantic Salmon! Have you ever seen or heard of Pike Place Market in Seattle where they throw the Salmon to the guy behind the counter to wrap? Well, that is where we are from! Okay, I'd better quit talking about it, I will just want to go HOME!!! (laugh)

IN like a LION, OUT like a LAMB!

Where is winter this year? Will the saying prove true this month? It sure doesn't seem like it at the moment! When I was little, we lived in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, and I remember every year having two or three feet of snow at a time that my sister and I had to shovel! But then, we also had fun digging out caverns and building "igloos", ice skating and sledding. At this age, I only love the beauty of snow falling, but I hate it sticking! Maybe if I had a "maintenance person" always making my place look beautiful (and clear of snow), then I wouldn't mind!!! ...I can always dream... :-)

♥ February is the month of LOVE. ♥

Hopefully, you have a wonderful partner who lets you know everyday that you are the best thing that has ever happened to them! But for those "not-so-romantic" individuals, THIS is the day we romantics really expect you to go our of your way to tell us! So, come on, make their day beautiful! It doesn't have to take any money, just love from your heart. Write a letter that says how you feel – how wonderful you think your Sweetheart is. Clip winter branches of trees or shrubs, put them in a vase, (drinking glass works too!) then tie or glue cut out paper hearts to them! (you make them, silly, out of writing paper if nothing else!) If you have some creativity, search through your cupboard and make a little picnic for you and your Sweetheart on the floor! It's all about YOU taking the TIME and EFFORT to say, I LOVE YOU. So, get those thinking caps on and SHOW IT!!!! Happy Valentine's Day!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008!

I always wonder, "What will this year bring?" Actually, I already have a glimpse of events coming – at least for my children, Andy and Misty. Misty has found "The One" so that makes me very happy for her. Of course, being a romantic, I hope the fairytale lasts her whole lifetime. Andy is looking for a job in San Francisco where all the computer geeks are. It may not be Google, his first choice, but I'm sure he will love being there and FINALLY getting to do what he loves - programming! As for me, I have plans for expanding Country Charm Chapel. I don't know where that will lead me, just as long as it is making more dreams come true!

A Magical Season

The Holidays are coming upon us. Whether you celebrate any one of them or none, it is hard not to feel the magic in the air! I love this season!! What a great time for a ceremony to express your love for each other. Consider making this season even more magical with a "One Enchanted Evening" ceremony. Mention this Blog and I will take $50.00 off – making it a package for only $350.00! Check my availability and schedule your ceremony today! ~Love & Happiness!~

Travel

Seems my traveling is not quite over. Recently, my husband's Dad of 93 years old crossed over to the peaceful and happy realm of another existence. Larry and I will be in Phoenix Arizona from October 16th through October 21. Andy and Misty will be answering phone messages and emails. Please don't hesitate to schedule your ceremony during my absence!

Hello!

Thank you for taking a look at my first post!

Most importantly I need to express my great concern about the parking here at my little wedding chapel. Please read the "Rules & Issues" on Parking!!! I've been officiating wedding ceremonies here for two years now and getting continually busier. It is wonderful to see so many of you appreciate it!

It was a busy travel month for me in September. I was in NYC for my secondary job, I flew out to Seattle to help Misty, my daughter, move into her new home, and then I met my husband in Phoenix who was visiting his 93 year old Dad. I was lucky enough to see two exciting shows during that time! Keith Urban in Seattle, (yep, I'm a country music fan), and Le Reve in Las Vegas! Both were GREAT!
I had fun, but I'm ready to get back to wedding business!
