About Sherry

Rev. Sherry Harrison

Hello! My name is Sherry Harrison. Opening my first wedding chapel in August 2005 was a dream come true. An intimate Ceremony and Wedding Chapel with a reasonable price, and the hope of leaving you with a wonderful, memorable experience.

People have asked me, "What made you want to do this?" As I look back at my life now, I believe our life experiences, from an early age on, actually gives a clue of what is to become, and lead us to where we are suppose to be when it is our "universal" time, and only then does it become a dream. I plan on doing this for the rest of my life! Let me just say, I love doing what I'm doing!

I grew up in the Northwest. My mom and dad flipped houses way back when it wasn't the financial trend it is today. We moved about every two years to another house. In my sophomore year, we moved to Yuma, Arizona for my dad's health. Sadly, he died of a heart attack my senior year. I married a Marine at 17. We waited for children. Four years later Andy arrived in my world – and my heart was changed forever!!! Two years later, a little blacked haired daughter, Misty joined the family! ♥ Seven years of that marriage ended by way of his philandering. But, the universe had a plan. Three years later, destiny and I met Larry! My "fairytale" came true.

These days I love the calmer activities: nature, "dinner and a movie" date, a stroll in the park, nice restaurants, traveling, sightseeing, and learning about different cultures. I love the idea (haven’t been there yet) of Paris and I love NYC! Being from Seattle, one of my favorite things is a Starbucks Mocha. My favorite music is country - Keith Urban and Rascal Flatts being my most played. I can get really lost in astrology, numerology, psychic phenomena, decorating, Feng Shui, Sudoku, and board and card games!

My husband, Larry, and I have been married for over 20 years - May 28, 1987. Larry received honorable discharge from the Air Force, retired from The Boeing Company, and is now Deputy General Manager for Wackenhut Services, Inc. Our son, Andy, 28, graduated Washington State University (WSU) with a Computer Science degree and is now employed with CoTs as the webmaster for a government contract on Quantico. In June 2008, our daughter, Misty, 26, ended her six years with Albertsons as Baker/Cake Decorator and moved to Virginia to be close to her family. Her career into government contracts began a new venture.

Thanks to my family for their Love, Encouragement, and Support.
~Happiness!~
